WE MUST FIGHT FOR BETTER!
Labour standards legislation in Newfoundland and Labrador is outdated and provides inadequate protection to low-wage, precarious workers, and no protection at all to gig workers misclassified as independent operators.
The best way to fight for improved labour standards legislation is to collectively organize by joining the
Workers’ Action Network of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Join the collective voice of workers, and together we will fight for our right to decent work; including fair wages, paid sick days, employment equity, and protection for independent operators and migrant workers.
